Born and raised in communist Romania, I was bound by the strict rules imposed by family/society. But in my mind, I had the freedom to envision whatever I wanted. I looked at the clouds and saw different human faces or mythological creatures, and the night sky was an immense city of future. Autumn was always the season that brought with it the most fascinating changes; every day the same tree looked different, continuously changing colors and shape, creating one of the infinit number of nature's "symphonies" of life.

I studied drawing at Drafting and Design High School between 1988 and 1992. Then in 1992, I enrolled at Polytechnic University of Timisoara graduating in 1997 with a master's degree in engineering.

After graduation I worked in an American company in Quality/Regulatory Departments. In 2013 my family and I moved to United States, New Jersey.

In January 2017 I started to study oil, acrylic and watercolor painting with maestro David John Rush.

I like designing and experimenting with different materials.

I love my new home - New Jersey - with its endless opportunities for enjoying the nature: hiking, skiing, Jersey's shore. I am enchanted by the forms and colors we find in nature, and, especially, the symmetry nature uses in all around us.
